So the question is, which in the event you use, Search engine optimization or Pay per click? There are arguments for doing both Web optimization and Pay per click. Doing Pay per click and really getting the most out of it can be a skill unto itself and if you don't do it right it can prove to be an expensive and unfruitful exercise. Natural Search engine marketing brings in free traffic but it can take a long time to obtain to the top of the search engines and, if there is steep competition for your search term, could be nigh on impossible.
So the best course of action, as far as I can see it, is to reinforce your internet marketing efforts by using both Ppc and Seo. Once you are getting listed over the initially site of Google through your natural Search engine optimisation efforts you can turn off your Pay per click marketing or target other terms.
