The National History Day California is an academic program that continues for one year and inspires students to get familiar with history on all the levels- local, state, national as well as the world. Students participating in National History Day California are usually asked to take up a historical topic that will relate with the annual theme of the program and for this; pupils have to do a lot of exploration making use of libraries, museums, archives and also by performing several oral history interviews. Students then required to access their research to get to results and hence, develop the final project on the particular matter. These finished assignments are then subjected to enter into a series of competition, from local to the national level in the history day program. A team of professional educators and historians conduct these assignments created by students.
