The GAMSAT is scored for every of the three sections individually. The sections composed of multiple choice questions are first scored wrong or right producing a raw score. Standards for interviews or admissions can vary for Sectional Scores and also the Overall GAMSAT Score. For instance, one particular school of medicine may begin a cutoff (minimum) of 50 or 55 for any given Section and 60 for the Overall GAMSAT Score.
