Horror movies have turn into a bustling business in Hollywood. With relatively low cost of production and then a generally solid return at the box office, horror films are churned out on a yearly basis in a big way. One thing is positive. People like to be scared at the movies. Over the past few years, there have been completely some pretty awful horror films. But amongst that bad, there have been some great ones. I'll give some basic plotlines but aren't going to be giving spoilers.

Vampires will be in the media in a big way for recent years. Unfortunately most movies they have been in are more about love and less about horror. Even though it was not a perfect film, I thoroughly enjoyed month of night for that exact reason.

Forget about the fact that it can be a scary movie, The Ring is just an awesome film. The plot is captivating in addition to a great movie to watch for anyone who wishes people liked horror films but have a hard time getting through it. It is scary but incredibly interesting, and Naomi Watts provides great performance.

Another incredibly frightening film, that's somewhat of a realistic feel for it is 28 Days Afterwards. Starring the great Irish actor or actress Cillian Murphy in his breakout role, this film takes place near your vicinity following a devastating disease where the vast majority of country has become really... "sick. " This is more than just a zombie video; it is an incredibly suspenseful film that has a somewhat post-apocalyptic feel for it.

My most loved horror film in recent memory however goes to The Descent. It can be a story about 5 young girls who go exploring in an unmarked cave and properly, as you can imagine, everything pretty much moves wrong. I won't claim anymore, but The Descent is undoubtedly a horror film worth experiencing.

While remakes generally are certainly not good, I very considerably enjoyed The Hills Have Eyes remake. It had been scary, over the prime, horrific, and even funny from time to time. I will not go into details, but there is one scene from this movie that has stayed beside me, and is certainly not for any squeamish.

Lastly, Sunshine, by Academy Award winning director Danny Boyle is actually another fantastic film. While it may not be a true horror film per se, its plot is daunting and realistic and at the very least, it can be called suspenseful.

. If life throws you a concrete block, instead of a strawberry flavored snowball, don't feel badly.

A good low-rated B movie is likely to make you feel warm and fuzzy all over. In the days any time
money was tight, I always new I could go to the middle isle of Blockbuster and pick a
winner. Now it's your turn! Over time, B movies have received a negative rap from critics and also the butt-end of jokes
at college parties. Two young guys get drunk and then get the great idea to look through
their motion picture collections. Do they pick a good one like Wild Things? No! They choose a movie
called, "Attack in the Crab Monsters! " You definitely have to be three sheets to the wind,
to watch and revel in a corny crab motion picture. Ed Wood's classic M movie, "Glen or Glenda",
can potentially be used for a coffee cup coaster or your preferred new dart board. Thanks to a site called Stupid, you can purchase your worst B movies on earth. Vincent Price was a
great actor, but he didn't always have his good share of good video roles. What's exciting, could be the "Stupid" website even offers plastic horrified B-movie sufferers, you can put beside your bathroom's soap dish. After a B scary movie night, it is designed for one last scream as your brushing your the teeth. While flossing your teeth, you can stare at the little figurines so stupid, you will cry like a baby for milk. The "Stupid" website will allow you to purchase such wonderful movies being a Bucket Of Blood and
Attack Of That Giant Leeches. What I?m a sucker for about the Stupid site, is the bad motion picture night kits.
You don't just get hold of kit with low-budget movies, but you get microwave popcorn and then a barf
bag. The barf bag is what sealed the offer for me! I new easily ever saw Paris Hilton acting again,
I would desire plenty of barf hand bags! Put Paris Hilton in any movie and you have a run of the mill,
low-rate, low-budget B-movie your pet dog would love. Army of Darkness is one of the best B Horror movies ever! Great filming and knee-slapping lines makes B flick a keeper. Who can forget The Blob(1958) and who wants to remember it! How regarding the Attack of The Killer Tomatoes; now here is a movie you can flog some ripe tomatoes at,
while leaving them inside cans! Here is a listing of my favorites: Blood Fanatic, Bloodsucking Freaks,
Body Melt, A Boy together with His Dog, The Brain, Brain Damage, Attack in the Supermonsters, and
Poor Taste. These are real movies, that are truly bad, and will leave a bad taste of raw unfiltered
horseradish juice in your mouth. Watching one these movies is like drinking moonshine using a mixed laxative cocktail. In the movie, "The Brain" a hideous brain creature gets control people's mental faculties through TV.
Let's think this through one for a instant. Ok, I'm done. When your really bored and don't wish to mow
your backyard, then check out this movie Blades. Blades can be a movie where people are terrorized by the
killer lawnmower. What's following a killer snowblower! Wait around, wait... How about some sort of killer food blender.
This headline is a beauty, "Juice Machine Terrorizes Village, Where People Act Such as Vegetables and
the girls Are Fruity. " Properly, it is time for me personally to step away from the keyboard, before I set off Fruit
Loops(great cereal).
