Teriyaki Grill With Pineapple

There is nothing quite as nice as knowing that you are about to serve a delicious meal to your family. Teriyaki and pineapple slices create an incredible flavor that will quickly have them adding it to their best hamburger recipe list. You will be delighted with the ease of preparation and cleanup.

What You Need:

1 pound ground beef 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce 1 large onion, sliced 1 small can sliced pineapple 4 strips cooked bacon 4 hamburger buns, any style 4 slices Swiss cheese 4 large leafs of lettuce 1 tablespoon butter

How To Make It:

Open the can of pineapple and drain the juice into a small bowl. Add the teriyaki sauce to the juice and mix well. Open a large, resealable plastic bag and put three tablespoons of the juice mix and the pineapple slices in the bag. Seal it and turn it several times to coat the pineapple slices and set it aside.

Make four hamburger patties, and put the rest of the juice mixture on top of the patties. Preheat the grill. Put the patties on the hot grill, with the side that got the juice mix facing upwards. Grill for 4 minutes and turn over to grill another 4 minutes, till done.

Butter the inside of the hamburger buns and place face down to toast. Take the pineapple slices out of the bag and put them on the grill to cook. Remove when they are lightly browned and warm throughout. You can turn them over to brown both sides if you wish.

Put a complete bun open faced on each plate, and put the patty and a pineapple ring on the bottom half of each bun. Invite everyone to add their own bacon, cheese, onion, and lettuce, as desired.
