What's My IQ? Tests Your Intellect

For fans of gaming who like to test the most recent mobile apps, there is a new game that tests your ability to think on your feet. What's My IQ? is a mobile app that challenges what you can do to solve questions, along with your overall reading comprehension. The floor rules with this game are fairly obvious. For each question, you receive points based on how fast you give the correct answer and just how many tries it takes you to understand it properly.

Most people that will get frustrated with this particular game think it's either way too hard or otherwise fun at all. Rather than trying to overcome the obstacles that are presented before them, they opt to quit the sport and move on to another app like 100 Doors or Amazing Breaker because they were either bored or didn't think the sport was enjoyable.

Unfortunately, that is the majority opinion of people that play this game. However, what's encouraging is that more people are fighting through those obstacles and taking advantage of the mobile app in an effort to improve their critical thinking skills and wrap their minds around what each real question is asking, as opposed to the emotion of being unsure of the answer or guessing incorrectly.

intelligence tests

Initially, the developers of What's My IQ? released an overall total of 101 questions that were sorted into sub-sections, called "Checklists". Because the game continues to gain momentum within the iTunes App Store, in addition to favorable online reviews, fans of the game have begun to speculate on how they will move the sport forward.

A few of the questions being raised on message boards are:

  • Can they continue the number of questions from #101?
  • Can they create new episodes or checkpoint themes?
  • Will the developers branch out and cover new territory?
  • Is What's My IQ? going to be the proverbial one-trick pony by simply asking the same kinds of questions in its current format?

There isn't any denying this game comes with an educational ingredient that is a superb tool to help teenagers learn new critical thinking skills. What is a great tool for that younger generation is also a double-edged sword for older adults, once we wrestle using the proven fact that we ought to know these answers, but don't.

If you are looking for a new mobile app to check your intellect, instead of shooting things or action-adventure type games, I recommend you give What's My IQ? an attempt.
