Virtually all people when they venture into the Tablet PC world, are searching for specific things. They might be interested to play games, watch flicks, store images, or merely search the Internet. A nice beginning Tablet PC is the Lenovo A1. HP offers great deal of hard-drive space, and RAM, but there isn't a graphic card included. This HP Tablet PC is a PC for Tablet PCs users who are on a budget, and not too interested in gaming. You can't do much video gaming, but that will give you the chance focus on your Tablet PC time.

Several of the features of the Lenovo A1 are the $600 price tag, a 2.9GHz AMD Phenom ll 840T quad-core CPU, 6 GB of RAM installed, and a 1TB hard drive, which is plenty for a budget machine. The Tablet PC tower sports a plain, average black chassis, but the front is made of glossy black plastic. An additional bay is found beneath the DVD burner, for expansion when you wish to add a Blu-ray player. It is more or less 7 inches wide, with the power button located at the top, and not too remarkable in looks. This PC has a mouse and keyboard set that are wired and quite generic. There are a few useful ports on the front, with a multi-format card reader bay being one of them. You will also see two USB 2.0 ports, along with the microphone and headphone jacks. Since this is a budget Tablet PC system, and not for multimedia, a few things are missing. The back has an ethernet port, four USB 2.0 ports, one DVI-out, one VGA-out, and an S/PDIF-out. Also, 7.1 surround sound support is included. If you are looking for some room for expansion, you will be disappointed. Inside the case, the wires are all bunched in the center. There isn't much that can be done in the way of adding more parts. There is a place to add a video card.

The HP Pavilion p6720f, is the wrong Tablet PC system for you if you are wanting to play games. The integrated ATI graphics just isn't enough for the quality needed for your games. Budget PCs are not designed for gaming. The Micro Express MicroFlex 25B, which will cost you several hundred dollars more, will be a much better choice for your digital entertainment. The Pavilion p6720f, for the cost, offers enough hard drive, and a quad-core processor that will give you plenty of speed. This Tablet PC was right for me, because it did everything that I wanted it to do. It was easy to use, and plenty fast, and the price was right.
